Dear Families,
I am delighted to share our Christmas Newsletter with you, showcasing the many wonderful things that have taken place at All Hallows this term.
I continue to be deeply impressed by our pupils’ commitment to Chaplaincy, particularly their dedication to supporting St Peter’s Gate. They have been busy fundraising and collecting donations for our food bank and for Mission Christmas, ensuring we can support families in our community throughout the festive season. This week, we were pleased to welcome children from our feeder primary schools to join us for our Advent service, led beautifully by our Prayer Captains and Andrea, our Lay Chaplain. It was a joyful afternoon, and the children thoroughly enjoyed creating decorations for our Jesse Tree. Our pupils truly embody our Mission Statement in all they do.
We have also celebrated the achievements of our pupils at our Awards Evening, where we were joined by former pupil Muheez Hussein, who spoke with great passion about his time at All Hallows. It was a pleasure to welcome parents and carers to share in this special occasion. Earlier this term, we also held our Presentation Evening and welcomed back our Class of 2025. It was wonderful to see our former Year 11 pupils again and to hear about their exciting future plans. We wish them every success, knowing they will always remain part of the All Hallows family.
Across the school, pupils have been working exceptionally hard and it is a joy to see how engaged they are in their learning. Visitors frequently comment on the calm, purposeful atmosphere in our classrooms and this is a testament to the dedication and work ethic of our pupils. Our Year 11s have now completed their mock exams, and we are incredibly proud of the maturity and determination they have shown. We are confident that their efforts will be rewarded when they sit their GCSEs in the summer.
I am also delighted to share this year’s All Hallows Christmas card, designed by Esther in Year 7. Her beautiful nativity scene earned her first place in the Year 7 Christmas card competition—congratulations, Esther.
Finally, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all our parents, carers, and families for your continued support throughout the term.
Wishing you all a happy and Holy Christmas.
Mrs Walker
