Easter Newsletter 2026

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am delighted to share with you our Easter newsletter. This term, our pupils have excelled in their academic, spiritual and social development, and I am immensely proud of all they have achieved. Our school community has continued to demonstrate its commitment to caring for our common home through litter-picking initiatives, both on site and in Buile Hill Park alongside pupils from Holy Family. We are also very much looking forward to strengthening our links with our partner primary schools in the coming term.

Our Year 11 pupils have been working incredibly hard in preparation for their GCSE examinations. Despite this, they also took time to enjoy their recent residential, where they participated in a range of enriching activities. They will be greatly missed and we look forward, with excitement, to all they will go on to achieve in the future.

Our Year 10 pupils have shown outstanding leadership during Lent, leading prayer and liturgy, as well as our Lenten and Easter assemblies. It has been inspiring to see them speak so confidently and passionately about their faith journey, sharing this so meaningfully with other year groups. This week, we have also celebrated pupils’ successes through our attendance awards and recognised those who have achieved Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards within the Charter. Congratulations to all who were recognised and we hope you enjoy your rewards next term.

I would like to wish all of our families a very happy and holy Easter and we look forward to welcoming our pupils back at 8.30am on Monday 13th April.

Mrs Walker.
