Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been a wonderful year at All Hallows and we have celebrated many successes and achievements.

I am delighted to announce our new Head Boy, Head Girl and Deputies. Congratulations to Dima, Daniella, Oliver and Eirene who have been voted in. Well done to all of our Pupil Leadership Team and I am looking forward to what they will achieve next year.

Pupils have been working hard in lessons and engaging in learning outside of lessons through eXtras. The pupils who achieved The Charter were treated to a day on the inflatables and drinks and snacks. It was a particularly hot day and pupils thoroughly enjoyed the ice-cream and ice-lollies.

Our Year 10 pupils had a wonderful trip to Lourdes where they got to visit The Grotto and take part in the Torchlight Procession. Staff and pupils truly enjoyed this remarkable experience and we are looking forward to planning the next trip.

Our History trip departed in the early hours of Wednesday morning and they have already visited Langemark German War Cemetery and they attended a very moving ceremony at the Menin Gate. We know that they will continue to have a wonderful time making great memories.

This year, we are saying goodbye to Miss Zaidi, Mr Phillips, Mr Singh, Mrs Waghorn and Mr Taylor. Everyone at All Hallows wishes them all the best in their next chapter. Mr Goodfellow and Mr Reid have both stepped down from their role as PPL and we would like to thank them for all of their hard work and support that they have provided to the children.

We have welcomed back Mrs Taylor from her maternity leave and also Mr Potruff who will be starting with us in September in the Humanities department.

Congratulations also to Miss Milan-Snee who will be Head of Year for Year 9 in September and Mrs McHale who will be Head of Year for Year 7 Boys.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a peaceful and happy Summer and we look forward to welcoming the children back on Wednesday 3rd September at 8.30am.

Yours faithfully,

Mrs E Walker
